Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy at Tokyo Disney Land
Between January 13 and March 20, 2015, Tokyo Disney Land is hosting “Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy.” In connection with this event, Tokyo Disneyland will be decorated to look like the hit Disney movie, Frozen. Frozen became very popular in Japan, breaking box office records. One reason for its success is reflected in the Japanese title of the song, “Let it go” which contained the phrase Arinomamade, meaning “just as you are.” The phrase Arinomamade and the film have become quite popular in Japan as its message has resonated. In spite of the cold weather at the park, people came out to be enchanted by the magical world of Frozen.
In addition, a parade called “Frozen Fantasy Greeting” will occur twice a day at 10:50 am and 4:15 pm.
On January 13, the cast from the Japanese version of the movie “Frozen”: Takako Matsu (voice for Elsa), Sayaka Kanda (voice for Anna), and Pier Taki (voice for Olaf), along with the singer May J. (who sang “Let it Go” in Japanese), appeared in this parade.
