Japanese Soccer Players Thank Fans

A day after their match against Cambodia on November 17th, members of the Japanese national soccer team expressed gratitude to their fans through Twitter.

While boarding for his flight, Yuto Nagatomo, who currently plays for Internazionale Milan, tweeted this message to his fans from the plane:
“Thank you for cheering for us yesterday. I am on my way back to Italy.”

He attached a photo of himself with two other members from the national team: Keisuke Honda and Shinji Kagawa.

Kagawa plays for Borussia Dortmund in Germany, and Honda is currently playing for AC Milan. Honda scored one goal by heading in the November 17th game, contributing to the win.

Makoto Morishige and Shusaku Nishikawa also expressed gratitude to their fans over Twitter.
