Magnolia Bakery Hosts “Pie Week”

Between March 9th – 15th, Magnolia Bakery Japan is hosting “Pie Week” to celebrate “Pi Day” which occurs on March 14th. Pi, which is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, and closely approximates to the number 3.14, is celebrated in some countries such as the US on March 14th. However, in Japan, March 14th is better known as White Day, while Pi Day is practically unheard of. During Magnolia Bakery Japan’s “Pie Week” campaign period, three kinds of pie will be featured at the store: Apple Caramel Hand Pie, Mini Apple Double Crust Pie, and Mini Bottom Crust Pecan Pie. Magnolia Bakery’s flagship store opened in Tokyo in June of last year.
