Magnolia Bakery in Japan Selling Cherry Blossom Cupcakes
Between March 18th and April 12th, Magnolia Bakery in Japan will be selling Sakura Cup Cakes. “Sakura” is the Japanese word for “cherry blossom,” and these cup cakes have diced, salted, cherry blossoms in the cake bread, plus a cream made with cherry blossom paste, and are topped with a salted cherry blossom.
Though it is rare for Magnolia Bakery to sell a menu item which is limited to only one region outside of the United States, both Magnolia Bakery in Japan, and Magnolia Bakery in America, collaborated with each other to create the Sakura Cup Cakes.
