Nearly Two-Thirds of the Japanese Public Opposes Adoption of Legislation this Parliamentary Session

On September 6, Nippon New Network (NNN) reported that the results of a poll that was taken September 4-6. The poll showed that 65.6% respondents said that they do not support the adoption of the security legislation currently being debated at the Upper House of Parliament. Only 24.5% of respondents support the adoption of the legislation in this Parliamentary session. The Upper House’s session will come to an end on September 27.
