The Baby Steps
I applied my skills to poker through the books that I have read. I won consistently during our weekly house games in high school. We played until the wee hours of the morning. Poker was a great game to me. It fed my adrenaline rush towards competition and made me want to challenge myself. When I am focused and in the zone poker made my mentally sharp.
After the countless nights at my friends place playing poker, craving more challenging competition. I wanted to know how I will hold my own against other recreational players. How would I gain a competitive edge against the field? I knew in order to fill this void I would have to make drastic changes to my poker game. After the boom of the WSOP online poker was inevitably popular. This online poker phase created an interest to many Americans. From the east coast to the west coast has become a phenomenon through live and online playability.
