The Disney Resort Line is the monorail system that connects the four locations of Disney Resort.
Currently, there is a special train on the line which has white train cars with a yellow streak along the sides,
and features the characters from the Disney movie, Lilo and Stitch.
This special train has been running since summer, and is to celebrate the opening of a new attraction called, “Stitch Encounter.”
Between September 8th, and November 11th, this Lilo and Stitch monorail version has been changed into a Halloween version of the same theme.
In addition to this special train, the regular monorail trains (no illustrations in the body) are still running.
The first stop of the Disney Resort Line is the Resort Gateway Station next to Ikspiari mall. This stop is a five minute walk from JR Maihama station. The second stop is Tokyo Disneyland station, which is the closest stop to Tokyo Disneyland and the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. The third stop is Bay Side Station, where several Disney official hotels such as Hilton Tokyo Bay, Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay, and Sheraton Grande
Tokyo Hotel Bay are located. The fourth stop is Tokyo Disney Sea station, where Disney Sea and Hotel Miracosta are located.
