Hibakusha
Hibakusha (被爆者) is a Japanese word used to refer to people whose health was damaged by the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. According to the Ministry of Health and Labor, the total number of hibakusha in Japan as of March 31, 2014 was 192,719. If someone classified as hibakusha as defined by the Atomic Bomb Relief Law, then he or she can meet with a doctor for free of charge for all symptoms derived from the atomic bombings.
