Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Dresses as Betty Poop at Halloween Event

On October 24th, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu appeared at a Halloween event in Shibuya, Tokyo, wearing a Betty Poop costume. Last year, she dressed as Emily from the movie “Corpse Bride,” and it was well received. This year, she put a lot of thought into her costume choice due to high expectations from the public. She finally decided on Betty Poop, as she was unable to find anyone else going as this character through her research on the Internet. In addition, since Halloween is an event popularly celebrated by foreigners, she wanted to go as a character who would be easily recognized by them.
