Konosu city in Saitama Prefecture is one area known for its production of hina dolls. It holds the Hina Matsuri Festival between February and the end of the first week of March. During the festival, the decorated hina pyramids will be shown at several locations around the city. The tallest one is located at Elumi Konosu Shopping Center and is the tallest hina pyramid in Japan.
